“The only way to do great work is to love what you do. If you haven’t found it yet, keep looking. Don’t settle.” – Steve Jobs
Three simple rules in life:
1. If you do not GO for what you want, you'll never have it
2. If you do not ASK, the answer will always be no
3. If you do not step FORWARD, the answer will always be no
In short, stay positive with an open mind every second, every minute, every hour, every day, every month, every year and as long as you live.

Life changing experience...
I was born in Kuala Lumpur and and stayed there till I started my secondary school, after which I moved to Ipoh. Half way through high school, I was accepted at one of the top boarding school in the country before I was sent to the States (US) to further my studies on government scholarship. Being at different places before the age of 20 was an interesting journey...
Soon after graduation, I came back to KL to start my career life. The economy was down at that time and it was not easy to find a good job without experience. I was determined not to waste my time so I just grab whatever opportunity cross my path. My first job was as a front office executive at one of the hotels in KL. The basic was only RM 400 but anyway I needed the exposure and it gave me good start to explore my career path.
After few months, I discovered the job was not for me and soon after that I joined one of the insurance player in the market as an insurance agent. It was not easy, but what interest me was that I was offered a financial planning course which was not only beneficial to the prospect clients but it created an awareness and gave me a really good insight on managing my own financial.
Anyway, I did not continue my career as an insurance agent because at that time I needed to have a stable income. I was offered an administrative job at one of the top MCO's. I put a lot of my time and effort to ensure I gain enough skills to master the task assigned and I was given a performance increment upon confirmation which was after 3 months I joined.
However, I moved on to a shipping company after a year at MCO for career advancement. Here, again I was trained on totally new things which really interest me because I love challenges in life. I was with the shipping company less than two years before moving back to the insurance (MCO) industry where I really build my career path till to date. I started as rank-and-file and move up a ladder from year to year.
Life has been up and down for me. I have been at the bottom in my career as well as in my life but all these things make me a stronger person.
NOW, I'm a consultant for DBC Physiotherapy centre where I assist in the business expansion aspect. I'm also working full time with one of the insurance broker and assisting in setting up a TPA for the company, as well as developing new business for the company.
In life, we just need to keep moving and never stop. We might take a break just to review whether we are on the right track but must always move forward and never turn back. We must be able to decide when to change when something doesn't work for us but must never ever stop. If we stop, we will never know what lies ahead and waiting for us.
